Ethics

At Signature Science, all employees are bound by our Code of Business Practices and Ethical Conduct, which mandates one of the highest standards of professional integrity in the industry.

Gifts and Entertainment

It is Signature Science policy to comply fully with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 3.502, “Subcontractor Kickbacks,” as well as the Anti-Kickback Act of 1986 (41 U.S.C. 51–58).  These laws and regulations prohibit Signature Science personnel from accepting a kickback, by or on behalf of a subcontractor, at any time, as an inducement or acknowledgement of the award of a subcontract.  A kickback is considered to include a fee, a commission, compensation, gift, gratuity, or thing of value given to Signature Science, or to any officer, partner, employee, or agent of Signature Science.

In addition, it is against Signature Science policy for employees to accept any gifts or gratuities for themselves or family members from suppliers, subcontractors, business associates, clients, or potential clients as an inducement or acknowledgement of the award of a subcontract.

Harassment-Free Workplace

It is Signature Science policy to provide employees with a workplace that is free from harassment of all forms. This includes all interactions with our suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Harassment in any manner relating to an individual’s race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or sexual orientation is expressly prohibited.

Reporting Violations

Signature Science has established an Ethics Review Board, headed by our company Ethics Officer, for use in reporting violations of our Code of Conduct, anti-kickback policy, harassment policy, or misconduct of any other type. All reports can be made completely anonymously online at http://signaturescience.ethicspoint.com, or by calling toll-free to (844) 796-1304.
