Adam L. Hamilton, P.E. - President and CEO

Mr. Hamilton’s background includes experience in engineering (BS/MS), science (chemistry and microbiology), training, statistics, and quality assurance. He is a registered Professional Engineer (1993-present) and has been heavily involved in applications of science and engineering for public safety and homeland security for more than 25 years. Mr. Hamilton has attained the highest level of Certification in Homeland Security from the American College of Forensic Examiners and is FEMA-certified in the National Response Plan and the National Incident Management System. Mr. Hamilton is on the Training Advisory Board for the Texas Attorney General and is a Board Member of the Greater Austin Crime Commission. He is also a graduate of the FBI Citizen’s Academy and has previously served as the HAZMAT Committee Chairman of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education. He also serves as the Future Plans Officer (N5) for the Texas State Guard Maritime Regiment and is a certified concealed handgun instructor, wildland firefighter, diver, and armorer. 

Mr. Hamilton graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree and completed his Master of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Texas.

Michael A. Regester - Vice President

Mr. Regester oversees the technical and administrative staff at Signature Science. Mr. Regester is also responsible for coordinating all corporate finance, budget, accounting, legal, and related matters of the Company. Mr. Regester’s background is diverse but has been involved in supporting defense, intelligence, law enforcement, and/or homeland security missions over his entire career. He has successfully managed long-term, multi-million dollar contracts for a number of U.S. Government clients. His technical experience includes engineering, science, mathematical modeling, training, software development, and quality assurance.

Mr. Regester graduated with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.

William M. Thompson - Vice President, Washington D.C. Operations

Mr. Thompson joined Signature Science as the Vice President for Washington D.C. Operations after a career that spanned 22 years with two national intelligence agencies. Mr. Thompson focuses on developing teams and systems that bring real technical and operational solutions to federal clients, leveraging Signature Science’s technical, scientific, and operational expertise with Southwest Research Institute’s unmatched technical capabilities and depth.

In 2004, Mr. Thompson was appointed as the Deputy Director for Human Resources, National Security Agency. In 2005, he was asked to assume the responsibilities of Associate Director for Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, National Security Agency–the position he held just prior to joining Signature Science.

Mr. Thompson’s federal service is highlighted with individual and unit recognition that include: DIA Director’s Team Award in 2001 to the Directorate for Administration; the DIA Meritorious Civilian Service Medal; DIA Exemplary Performance Award; three DIA Director’s Medals; Secretary of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award; President’s Y2K Award; and the Senior Executive Presidential Rank Award.

Mr. Thompson holds an M.A.S. degree from Johns Hopkins University.
