GSA Schedule 899 makes it easy for our federal customers to acquire technical advisory services. Under contract to GSA, Signature Science provides these services on a delivery-order basis at pre-negotiated prices. We can perform environmental planning, compliance, waste management, remediation, and training services that assist government agencies in meeting their environmental and technical needs. Additionally, we can provide expert advice and assistance through studies, analyses, and documentation of results. We have experience in the private and Government sectors, as well as expertise in working on activities where security clearances are required. Training courses may include, but are not limited to, conventional training techniques and computer-based interactive courses. Customized or standardized training and may be held at a client’s facility.

SIN 899-1: Environmental Planning & Documentation Services
Signature Science provides experience in a variety of environmental planning and documentation areas, including but not limited to:

• Reviewing requirements and identifying program "gaps" or "holes;"
• Performing site surveys;
• Developing sampling plans and Quality Assurance Project Plans;
• Collecting, documenting, and shipping samples;
• Documenting on-site activities;
• Performing sample analysis;
• Reviewing and interpreting data; and
• Preparing reports.

We provide assistance in the area of regulatory analyses and in the preparation, review, and presentation of materials for public meetings and hearings. Our capabilities include expertise in domestic and federal regulations. In addition, Signature Science provides broad-based QA oversight and quality management programs. We are skilled in statistical data analysis and interpretation, experimental design, documentation review (e.g., SOPs, QAPPs), laboratory audits/assessments, performance evaluation and round-robin study designs, and report preparation. We will provide extensive experience in support of environmental needs.

SIN-899-2: Environmental Compliance Services Services
Signature Science provides a variety of environmental compliance services to both commercial and government clients. We offer a comprehensive selection of services to address environmental regulations and policies directed toward control and prevention of air, water, and land pollution at federal facilities. Our philosophy is to focus on the client's facility as a whole and develop management and compliance plans to meet all applicable environmental regulations and to establish appropriate surveys and audit procedures to assess compliance to those regulations. When possible, operational approaches and/or process modifications are designed for pollution prevention.

SIN 899-3: Environmental Occupational Training Services
Signature Science staff has more than a decade of experience in the area of environmental occupational and technical training services. Our experience includes teaching in the areas of superfund site investigations, RCRA site characterizations, site characterizations for the Department of Defense Installation Restoration Program, waste characterization sampling programs, method validation studies, ambient monitoring programs, industrial process characterization projects, and many other applications related to environmental compliance and/or management. We are intimately familiar with environmental regulations and reporting requirements pertaining to environmental services. Signature Science also specializes in the area of anti-terrorism training. We have trained thousands of law enforcement and military personal in the area of CBRN assessment and response. Expertise available from our staff includes comprehensive knowledge of dissemination/weaponization scenarios, agents, threats, fate and transport, sampling, and detection technologies.

We also offer specially tailored and customized courses based on the client’s needs. Signature Science offers its clients training that ranges from short, focused training sessions to comprehensive training courses involving classroom, practical, and field exercises.

SIN 899-4: Waste Management Services and Software
Signature Science provides operational services, advice, and guidance in support of environmental compliance regulations, including a variety of services in the area of waste management. Waste management requires that facilities prepare and maintain accurate inventories of all chemicals used and stored, and of all wastes generated and stored from the time materials are first received until used and/or all wastes and residues are disposed of or destroyed. This generally requires a high level of cooperation among all departments and areas of a facility. Management plans detailing how chemicals and other materials are to be ordered, received, and stored are required for all facilities. These plans also should describe any materials that may be recycled on site or that could be included in off-site recycling programs, and how these activities will be coordinated with other facility operations. In order to eliminate or minimize waste production, Signature Science may make recommendations for improving a facility’s processes and operations. Services also include data collection, waste characterization analyses, analyses of comments, regulatory and economic analyses, feasibility analyses and studies, hazard assessments, exposure assessments, and risk analyses.

SIN 899-8: Remediation Services
Signature Science can provide a variety of remediation services to government clients. Signature Science can support and.or manage end-to-end remediation projects from feasibility testing to remediation performance assessment, or we can pick up a project already taken to an intermediate step.
