Our staff work in fixed laboratories located at the Signature Science campus in Austin, Texas, where project-specific testing is performed. The staff is well versed in methods needed to safely handle varying levels of dangerous microorganisms. In addition, we also provide off-site support, such as sample collection, analytical field testing and sample transport and management. Signature Science’s microbiologists also support the quality assurance and risk management needs of our clients. We help to ensure that analytical processes are performed as intended and provide data interpretation support.

Because Signature Science’s microbiology staff work both in the laboratory and in an operational capability, these individuals are well-prepared to provide expert microbiological training to a wide variety of customers, including, among others, emergency response teams, school teachers and law enforcement personnel. We apply both theoretical expertise and real-world experience in the development and delivery of training courses to students in either a classroom or a laboratory setting.
