Advanced Chemistry Training for CBRNE

16-20 June 2008: Advanced Chemistry Training for the CBRNE Team
Recommended For: Civil Support Team, Tech Escort, Civilian HAZMAT/Special Operations, CBIRF, and other CBRNE team members with basic chemistry experience/training whose position requires an advanced knowledge of CW production methods and analysis.
Course Description: Advanced Level Training on mission-focused chemistry concepts and analytical methods as it relates to the production and analysis of Chemical Warfare Agents, Labs, and Processes.

22-26 September 2008: Advanced Microbiology Training for the CBRNE Team
Recommended For: Civil Support Team, Technical Escort, Civilian HAZMAT, Special Operations, CBIRF, and other CBRNE team members with basic biology experience/training whose position requires an advanced knowledge of BW production methods and analysis.
Course Description: Advanced Level Training on mission-focused Microbiology concepts and analytical methods as it relates to the production and analysis of Biological Warfare Agents and disease pathogens, Labs, and Processes.

1-5 December 2008: Homemade Chemical Explosives Production Methods and the Analysis of Energetic Materials
Recommended For: Civil Support Team, Technical Escort, Civilian HAZMAT, Special Operations, CBIRF, and other CBRNE team members who may encounter improvised explosives production sites/labs and require an advanced knowledge of their identification, analysis, sampling, and safety considerations. Previous Chemistry experience at the first responder level or higher is preferred.
Course Description: Training on Homemade Explosive Production Methodologies and the specialized methods required for the sampling, detection, and analysis of Energetic Materials and their components.

Location: Courses will be conducted at the Signature Science Training Facilities in Austin, Texas.

Cost: $1500.00 per person (does not include travel or lodging) – IMPAC Cards accepted.
